Levels of Intervention Services and FeesA range of services so that nearly everyone can access some degree of professional assistance to help their loved oneThe greatest likelihood of success resides in a professionally prepared and facilitated intervention. To accommodate those who might not be ready for a complete intervention or who have financial or other restraints, I have tried to offer a range of services so that nearly everyone can access some degree of professional assistance to help themselves and their loved one. Click here to contact me for more information or questions regarding fees and services. Level One: Consultation Session While not part of the actual intervention process as described elsewhere on the site, consultation is designed to help people ease into the issue. It provides opportunities for having your questions answered, learning important information regarding addiction and learning more about intervention and the keys to successful intervention.. Perhaps most important of all, at this level I can help you to address and resolve whatever might cause you to pull back from the process and keep you and your addicted loved one from getting the most effective help. The fee for this level is lower than my intervention fees. Level Two: Services Tailored to Your Particular Needs But Short of Intervention Your addicted loved one is stopped from getting help because he cannot see reality. He needs you and others to be willing and able to effectively help him to see reality. If you are stopped from doing that, neither he nor you will get the help you need. You are making an extremely important decision that should not be rushed. If you need more time to consider taking action after an initial consultation, you may have it at this level and still at the consultation fee. You might need further help coming to terms with reservations you still have. You might want to explore your options for action short of an all out professionally facilitated intervention. You might need help getting other family members to join you in your desire to act. Whatever your particular needs or goals, we can address them at this level. Level Three: Professionally Facilitated Intervention People who are clear that they want to act and want to do what is most effective start at this level. The majority of people I have helped were less certain and have taken a more gradual path by way of Level One or even Level One and Two. By this point we will have mutually decided which of the two types of intervention you prefer. We now begin the actual intervention process. My intervention fee scale applies at this level. Click here to go to “Invitational Intervention." Click here to go to “Non-Invitational Intervention.” Level Four: Post Intervention Follow Up Session (Optional) Although I call this level optional, I highly recommend it. After all the effort of an intervention, some let down is natural. This helps keep the intervention team on track and gives your now recovering loved one the best opportunity for continuing success. If he did not go to treatment, the follow up helps the team continue what they have to do to see that their loved one gets help. Also, it helps the team with their own recovery. You may elect to schedule one or more follow up sessions. The fee reverts to my consultation fee.
